![Pills of Squill and Calomel, Se. R. Calomelanos, Pulveris Scillze, 44. gr. xij. Conserve rosarum, q. s.—ut fiant pilule xij. .—Signa. —One night and morning, in dropsies depending upon visceral de- rangement. This preparation is one of the most celebrated of the diuretics; and, where disease of the liver causes the effusion, is decidedly one of the best. When the ca- lomel affects the mouth, it may be omitted, and the squill only continued. Pills of Sub-carbonate of Soda. — R. Sub-carbonatis Sodze exsiccate, 3]. Saponis albi, 5jj. 3 Aque fontane, q. s.—ut fiant pilule xxx.—Three to be taken three times a day. Chiefly useful in calculous affections. Pills of Calomel, Digitalis, Sc. R. Pulveris Scille exsiccate, gr. iv. - — Digitalis foliorum, gr. x. Calomelanos, gr. vj. Myrrhe, 5j. . Simul tere et adde— Retatect dix: BSS. Extracti Gentian, q. s.
