What you’ll do

Join Drea Asibey to watch ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ (2014, cert 12A) and discuss how science fiction explores the themes of science, race and technology in our ‘Genetic Automata’ exhibition by artists Larry Achiampong and David Blandy.

Cultural producer, curator and educator Drea Asibey will introduce the film, take you through an activity and facilitate a discussion.

Free pizza, popcorn, pick’n’mix and soft drinks will be provided. Invite your friends and come along to this unique free screening.

About ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’

After the cataclysmic events in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and a new ally, the Falcon, Rogers struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy.
