What you’ll do
Join Beth Milton and Katie Hanlon from our library team in a creative writing workshop inspired by items from our collections and the ‘Jason and the Adventure of 254’ exhibition. You’ll be looking at a selection of images and accounts on subjects such as disability, memory and magical realism.
You’ll participate in several activities, such as walking through the exhibition, word games and readings, to help you think about how to respond creatively to the world around you. You’ll then have a chance to write your own piece inspired by the items you’ve examined.
The workshop is open to all levels, from beginners who want a place to start to more experienced writers who may be looking for a spark for their next piece.
