This exhibition featured more than 100 works by acclaimed artist Alice Anderson – each piece an exploration and act of memory.

Anderson’s sculptures were entirely mummified in copper thread, to create glistening landscapes of uncannily transformed objects. The exhibition also included The Studio: an immersive experience that extended the artist’s creative practice into the gallery. Visitors could spend time mummifying a 1967 Ford Mustang and other smaller objects with copper wire, creating an atmosphere at once meditative and communal. Both the making and display of works posed challenging questions about the comforts and consolations of creating and sharing memories.
