The Atrium is a light, airy and flexible space just inside the main doors of Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. Ideal for receptions and dinners, it’s home to one of Turner Prizewinner Antony Gormley’s distinctive metal sculptures. Cast from the artist’s own body, the life-size figure hangs upside down from the ceiling.
Whether you’re running a launch event or thanking your staff for their hard work, we’ll do everything we can to help make your evening a success.

Capacity
Capacity depends on the layout you choose. Our photos show you what the Atrium looks like set out for a reception. And these are the numbers you need:
- Reception: 390
- Dinner: 80
Audiovisual
We can organise a PA system for your event if you need one.
Accessibility
The Atrium has wheelchair access. There are adapted toilets on this level. Guests with assistance dogs are very welcome to bring them along.
There’s also accessible parking – call or email us to book.
Food and drink
Our food and drink is memorable for all the right reasons.
Availability
You can hire the Atrium from 19:00 every day, except Thursdays.
We don’t charge extra for events over the weekend.
