Photocopies of typed transcriptions of letters from Rhodes to his mother and his sister Ella whilst purser of the S.S. Lady Jocelyn, acting as a hospital transport in the Crimean War, describing journeys through the Mediterranean to and from the theatre of war. Creator of transcriptions not known.
