Phisicae tractatus, seu Physicae thomus primus. In quo tractatur de toto illo quod bene discurrere volenti faciendum est. Et precipue trac[ta]tur de Principiis rerum naturalium ac de causis. Qui Physicae thomus compositus fuit a R.P. Eligio de Marra Societatis Jesu Neapolitano, qui R.P. fuit supradictae Physicae facilis Lector anno domini 1622, ac deinde anno sequenti Sacrae Theologiae Lector. Per Franciscum Festum Abellinensem Anno domini 1623. On the title is a pen-drawing of the device of the Society of Jesus, and on the verso the arms of Marino Caracciolo, Principe d'Avellino; on fol. 203 the Jesuit device is repeated, and on the verso is a circular pen-drawn seal; on fol. 204 a crude symbolical device for Festus. Ff. 208-end contain religious verses in Latin by Festus, the last of which is unfinished. The main work is part of a course of lectures 'In octo libros Physicorum Aristotelis' delivered at Naples University. Produced in Naples.
