Notes
A rejoinder to An answer to A letter addressed to a Republican member of the House of Representatives (Boston, 1812) It is evidently by the author of the original letter (J. C. Warren)
Inscribed "to the three principal advocates of the petition for a College of Physicians, authors of the said Answer" (p. [3]) and dated Feb. 1812 in imprint. The date of publication was presumably before Feb. 13, when the petition was refused by the legislature. Cf. S. A. Green, History of medicine in Massachusetts, 1881, p. 116
