Whatever your age ... go for X-ray during Liverpool's campaign ...
Lettering in full: "Whatever your age. If over fourteen go for X-ray during Liverpool's campaign 28th February-21st March. Teenagers Your future depends on your health. When you have a chest X-ray you protect your health—because only the X-ray camera can tell you for certain that you are free of tuberculosis. In fact, only a few people will be found to have anything wrong—and even they will be glad they had an X-ray, because early discovery brings quicker recovery. The sooner the treatment, the sooner the cure. Mothers and fathers. As a parent you have a special responsibility to go for an X-ray—not only for your own sake, but for the sake of the children. Only by going for an X-ray can you be certain that your home is safe for children. If anything should be wrong, you will receive immediate treatment based on all the resources of modern medicine. There will be financial help, and kindness and care for your family. Middle-aged and elderly. You are never too old to catch tuberculosis—or too old to be cured of it. It's vital that everyone over fourteen years of age should be X-rayed. Everyone. The fact that you feel well or have been to the doctor recently doesn't make any difference. Don't take a chance! Have an X-ray—and be sure your chest is healthy. Even though you were X-rayed a year ago, check up again. You can't be too certain. No-one is too old to have TB, too old to spread TB or too old to be cured of TB. If we all have an X-ray we can beat TB!"
