    APPENDIX MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF TEACHERS AND ENTRANTS TO TRAINING COLLEGES The Minister of Education Circular 249,1952, requires that all candidates applying for admission to training colleges and university departments of education, and all entrants to the teaching profession, be medically examined. An X-ray examination of the chest is also compulsory for those entering the teaching profession. During the year 148 examinations were made in accordance with the provisions of the above Circular and X-ray examinations were arranged where necessary.
