Lettering

On verso, prayer to Saint Roch in German, invoking his power to heal the sick Bears monogram ‘HSK’ appears linked in ligature.

Notes

Monogram appears to be that of Hans Springinklee according to a similar print in the British Museum Museum Number: 1873,0809.910. The illustration was designed for an edition of Koberger's 'Hortulus Animae' c.1518.
