Description
5 letters, signed, formerly held in the Western Manuscripts Department's Autograph Letters Sequence. Includes 1 letter plus typed transcript (no. 3) to a Mr. Nugent about the latter's perceived effeminacy; and 1 letter (no. 4) to Dr. Josef Strasser of Vienna answering a set of questions concerning key decisions in his career and the factors that affected those decisions. Item 6 is a typed signed letter to Mr Ogden W. Heath of Garden City, Long Island, on religious experience and mysticism, 27 Jan 1929.
Also included as item 5 is the formal deed of separation between Ellis and his wife Edith (née Lees), dated 1916.
