About this work
Description
"An ongoing set of works which explores non-discursive conceptual metaphors and metonymies in visual language as used in artist's books, especially in relation to subjective bodily experiences, such as illness and emotions. The book is informed by experience and knowledge gained from curating Prescriptions exhibition. [metaphorically looking][anger] considers process [sic] of anger as a transitive emotion from rise to explosion to calmness: it's visual translation in the book parallels metaphorical conceptualisation of the process, as it is described in cognitive linguistics."--From author's website.
