About this work
Description
Interactive games for PCs from the award-winning 'Science for Life' exhibition. The games on the CD-ROM, like the exhibition, aim to enthuse and educate players about the workings of the human body in health and disease and to help them share the excitement that scientists have in discovering the mysteries of life. The games are designed for key stage 3 pupils upwards, and full National Curriculum links for each are included on the CD-ROM. The disc contains: 'Everything's under control' - take control of Zac's body and keep him alive on his journey home / 'Organs of the body' - do you know your body inside out? Which organ does what and where? / 'Variables' - how do our genes make us so different yet so similar? / 'Proteins' - why do we need proteins and where do you find them? / 'Green spot disease' - can you solve the mystery and find the cause?
