About this work

Description

The Interactive Skeleton is an educational electronic resource. The programme features a dynamic 3-D skeleton model presented in realistic topographical detail, right down to the bones of the middle ear - the smallest in the human body. You can navigate your way around the model in all directions or focus on specific areas and bones as you choose. The programme also shows muscle and tendon attachments in 3-D, and highlights separately named regions on the bone surface - all of which can be interactively labelled. Each label also provides the access point to functional and clinical text, making this an extremely useful tool in the study of anatomy.
