Fallopius, Gabriel (1523-1562)

Praelectiones de ulceribus Patavii habitae a die 4 Novembris 1560 usque ad diem 14 martii 1561. Preceded by the 'Oratio in funere... Gabrielis Fallopii iiii Idibus Octobris [12 October] A.D. 1562' by Joannes Savius Zamoscius. This MS. contains notes of lectures taken down by an anonymous student at Padua University. Fallopius' lectures were printed in 1563, but the published volume only contained the Lectures down to 1558. While it is therefore possible that this MS. may contain some unpublished parts of the Lectures, it is to be noted that Fallopius was in the habit of delivering his course of lectures on the subject every three years. Produced in Padua.
