About this work

Description

Second in a two-part series in which Britain's leading expert on obsessive-compulsive disorders, Paul Salkovski, attempts a radical cure for three sufferers of the condition by getting them to live together in a house with a team of therapists. Wendy has a fear of shiny glittery substances which has resulted in her not touching her partner or two children for 3 years. Sophie is a compulsive washer, desperate to start a family, but terrified of how she'd cope with her issues around 'contamination' with a baby around. Gerard has an obsessive fear of admitting to imaginary crimes which has led him to live like a recluse and chain himself to his bed every night in case he confesses to a crime during a bout of sleep-walking. The second part continues the various therapies begun in the first part, and also follows the trio as they return home for a weekend break.
