About this work

Description

Adam and Eve under the Tree of Knowledge with a serpent wrapped around its trunk. Eve has thrown away an apple-core and is loosening her fig-leaf, while Adam has discarded his fig-leaf and is throwing away his apple-core. Above, God, averting his eyes from their blunder, vandalises a notice saying "Paradise" by inserting the word "AIDS!"
