Description

Between ten and twenty percent of the population are affected by allergies, the most common of which are hay fever and asthma. However, allergic reactions may also occur in the gut and may even be involved in migraine and hyperactivity in children. This lecture explores allergic reactions and explains how the body reacts to foreign invaders. Lecture given on 24 March 1993.
