A corporate video produced for distributors and sales agents of Wellcome pharmaceuticals launching the anti-viral medicine acyclovir , branded as Virolex. There is a brief history of scientific research into anti-virals. The title consists of specially shot footage (including the research laboratories at Wellcome, Beckenham), stock footage and animation. Peter Collins and John Bauer feature in the laboratory and there is stock footage of the pharmacologist Gertrude B. Elion.
