Description
Bible. N.T. Luke 2.1-16. The ox and ass walk out from underneath the arches of what looks to be a ruined temple, roofed with makeshift boards. Behind them a group of young men rush forward; one bears a large basket of doves, a sacrifice for the birth. On the ground by the worshippers at the front are a set of pan-pipes and a crook, attributes of the shepherds. God appears from above, borne by angels
