Note.—This specimen was taken from the intestiue of a large cart- horse, belonging to Mr. Eice, miller, of Nutshalling, near Southampton. It is globular; its circumference is 22 inches, and its weight 9i pounds. Analysed by Professor Attfield, it was found to consist almost entirely of ammonio-phosphate ot magnesium. See P. J.
