Description
The standing figure bears some resemblance to the print by Jacques-Fabien Gautier d'Agoty published in his Anatomie des parties de la génération de l'homme et de la femme ... jointe a l'angéologie de tout le corps humain, e a ce qui concerne la grossesse et les accouchemens, Paris: J.B. Brunet & Demonville, 1773, fourth folding plate (numbered "Plan. VII" in the top half and "Plan. VIII" in the bottom half), inscribed "Anatomie du fetus disséquée et gravée par G. Dagoty pere 1773." There are some variations, however, in the details of the subsidiary figures
