Regulations and membership book, 1778-1805. Followed (ff. 47-70) by accounts of John Grundy, Sons & Wood, 1815-21, and by biographical notes on members of the Hargreaves and other families, 1812-70. The purpose of the Society was to maintain the sick, maimed and aged, and to bury the dead.
