Executed by Mary Bishop at Netherne Hospital in Surrey, with support from Edward Adamson. 'A brown bird singing' was a popular song composed in 1922 by Haydn Wood (1882-1959) with lyrics by Royden Barrie (Rodney Richard Bennett, 1890-1948)
