The herball or generall historie of plantes. Gathered by John Gerarde of London master in chirurgerie very much enlarged and amended by Thomas Johnson citizen ad apothecarye of London. Io. Payne sculps.
Lettering to the garden of Eden: Ecce dedi vobis omnes herbas sementantes semen, quae sunt. Gen. I.29. Excideret ne tibi divini muneris author / Praesentem monstrat quaelibet herba Deum.
