Description
Bible. N.T. Matthew 27.57-60; Mark 15.46; Luke 23.53. John 19.38-42. The Virgin Mary collapses in the foreground. Jesus's body is carried in a winding sheet by young boys and one old man (Joseph of Arimathaea) Two boys with candles stand on the left. A winged angel flies above carrying the crown of thorns. In the distance on the right the two criminals remain crucified
