Governor of the Royal Military College, these studies from nature, are most respectfully (dedicated with his permission) by his much obliged & obdt. servt. Willm. Dela Motte Lettering on the wall reads "Forest scenery", lettering on the signboard reads "Take notice Steel traps are set in these woods"
