    u Practical Piiy.siologt.—The objoct of tliLs Course is to give eaeli Student a tliorougli traiaing in practical work. Each Member of the class must provide himself with the following:—A compound microscope, with one or two eye-pieces, an inch and ^ or J object glasses, two dozen or more glass slips, 3x1 incli, a box of cover glasses, a glass rod and pipette, needles set in handles, razor and strop, camels-haii- brushes, small white saucer and two or three watch glasses, a duster and soft cambric or silk handkerchief, a ruled note-book and pencil. The necessary re-agents ai-e suijplied by the School, as well as materials for mounting specimens, &c. Chemistky.—The Courses of Lectiu-es and the Practical Classes are conducted by Professor Thorpe, at the Yorkshire College of Science, but Students obtain their class tickets from the Treasurer, Dr. Heaton, as in the case of the other Courses. Students atttsnding the Practical Chemistry Couise must supply themselves with the folloAving appai-atus :— 12 Test Tubes, 5 ins. by | in., Test Tube Brush, Porcelain Basin, Porcelain Ci-ucible and Cover, one 1 lb. Flask, one 4 oz. Flask, One G oz. Beaker, -| lb. Thin Glass Tubing, 1 Small Funnel, Thin Platinum Wire and Foil, Small Wedgwood' Mortar and Pestle, Triangle, 2 Watch Glassesj Spring-handled Test-tube Holder, Ciucible Tongs, Books of Test Paper, Packet of Cut Filters, Corks, assorted sizes. Mental Diseases.—Systematic Lectures and Practical Demonstrations are given by Dr. Herbert C. Major, Medical Dii'ector of the West Eiding Asylum, during the Summer Session. The Lectm-es are delivered in the Theatre of the School, anc' the Practical Demonstrations are conducted in the Asylum at Wakefield.
