Ceres is followed by Pomona, who offers her an apple from a basket of fruit, and by Flora, who picks wild flowers. Bacchus is accompanied by a male bacchant who dances with a satyr or faun. In the background, on Bacchus's side a faun or satyr takes hold of a woman and kisses her, while on Ceres' side a woman wearing an oak wreath plays a tambourine.
