The Greek text of book 1, with corresponding Latin translation by Johan van Heurne and Greek metrical version by Ralph Winterton, was published at Cambridge in 1631 under title: Aphorismorum Hippocratis liber primus
John Fryer's Latin metrical version was published in London in 1567 under title: Hippocratis ... Aphorismi versibus scripti. Winterton rendered into Latin verse book 7, aphorisms 60-75, which were omitted by Fryer. Cf. p. [13]
