Description

Leaflet advertising Branson Coffee Extract. The title includes engravings of two spades as opposed to the actual words. The extract is instant coffee and contains no chicory (which is said to be "noxious and unwholesome" causing "injury to the digestive system"). The reverse gives statistics and facts showing that "London is the greatest city the world has ever seen". Includes a testimonial from Albert Bernays, professor of chemistry at St. Thomas' Hospital.
