About this work
Description
The third in an eight-part series following the stories of people with various sleep disorders as they visit Papworth Sleep Clinic. This part features Geoff who twitches, kicks and jerks his legs all night long in his sleep and is exhausted all day and Leila who has narcolepsy and cataplexy, triggered by laughter, which means she keeps falling asleep anywhere and everywhere. Both Geoff and Leila are assessed at Papworth. Leila is given some drugs to try but the side effects outweight the benefits. Geoff, on the other hand, responds well to the medication he's been given and has a new lease of life.
