p. 45 'Cost of Vitriol March 1869' - including details of raw materials used with costs, similar details on wrappings, sales by month for 1869 (p. 52), manufacture of Vitriol 1869 (p. 53 onwards), sales by month for 1870 (p. 62), and for 1871 (pp. 65-66)
p. 68 '1871 - Experiments on Vitriol' - including details of chemical processes, 'vitriol making' (p. 78), sales figures for vitriol 1872 by month (p. 80), and for 1873 (p. 86), 1874 (p. 87), 1875 (p. 92), 1876 (p. 100), 1877 (p. 103).

Enclosed at the end of the volume are a postcard from W H Cowburn, Manchester to 'Messrs Cooper & Sons', 24 Apr 1899, re: offer of Copperas crystals for sale; and an order note dated 4 Oct 1881
