Extract: "Some time ago Messrs McDougall ascertained that Nobels had sold their Works at Umbogintwini to the African Explosives and Industries Ltd who had also acquired the whole of the shares in the Nobel Company. No notice of this sale had been given to McDougalls but they[,] after the knowledge had come to them of the transaction between Nobels and African Explosives and Industries Ltd[,] gave notice by letter dated the 16th April 1925 that they considered a situation had arisen which rendered it necessary for Nobel Industries Ltd to purchase Messrs McDougall's holding in Kynoch & McDougall (South Africa) Ltd in accordance with the provisions of Clause XII of the Heads of Agreement."
