Manuscripts

These fall into 3 main groups: drafts, versions and notes of papers eventually published; papers given as lectures or contributions to seminars and discussions, and unpublished papers. The distinction is not absolute, as some published papers were kept with early papers used as a basis for them, and versions of later papers on the same theme, while others were originally given as lectures. The papers classed as unpublished are those for which a more or less publishable draft exists, and which as far as can be ascertained, were not published in the version found here.
