Photograph of a wash drawing study of Dr Deyman's anatomy lesson by Rembrandt. This reproduction was made during the VI International Congress for the History of Medicine held in Leiden 1927 at the Exposition d'art Medico-Historique and is described as Dessin [Drawing] 22, Etude pour la composition du tableau: la lecon d'anatomie du Docteur Joan Deyman, in the exhibition catalogue. There is a hairline crack through the middle of the plate. The original drawing is held in the Six Collection at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
