Description

Photograph of six instruments associated with the Chamberlen family. The replicas were based on originals found at the Chamberlen family home, Woodham Mortimer Hall, Essex, now held by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. The replicas were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1940 (accession numbers 2537/1940 and 2542/1940). The items are not held by Wellcome Collection.
