Also notes of endemic (filarial-parasitic) elephantiasis, and the explanation of the connection with the parasites. Factitious oedema and factitious elephantiasis. Traumatic chronic ('solid' or 'semi-solid' ) usually oedema of hand or foot ('march fracture') etc. Also the whole subject of congenital universal hydrops (with erythroblastosis and possibly icterus gravis neonatorum--erythroblastosis foetalis} these cuttings are mostly in a separate collection. Cases of chronic recurrent lymphangitis or cellulitis of part of face (ear, eyelids, forehead, lip), or of one extremity, tending to permanent thickening or 'elephantiasis'. So-called tuberculous, syphilitic or 'septic' elephantiasis. All kinds of 'lymphoedema' (Telford and Simmons 1938)
