Two images on one negative: the two sides of a bronze medal made in 1820 showing Girolamo Fracastoro [Hieronymus Fracastorius] (c.1476-1553) Italian physician. The item was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is now held by the Science Museum (object number A676054).
