1 volume 6 ll. (last 3 bl.). + XLIX ff. + 1 bl. 4to. 22 1/2 x 15 cm. On vellum. original oak boards wormed and loose, back and leather covers wanting. Written in a rounded gothic script, 30 lines to a page Large illuminated initial on fol. 1 in gold and colours with floreated marginal decoration. Other initials in alternate blue and red, and red and yellow. Paragarph marks in alternate blue and red, headings and the foliation also in red.

Purchased at Sotheby's 5/12/1905, Lot 452.

Biographical note

This MS. contains 131 chapters. The work was first printed in Venice in 1493. [B.M.C. v. 512].
