Ergometrine Maleate

A rapidly working alkaloid of ergot. For the control or prevention of post-partum haemorrhage. Also promotes involution of the uterus. Helpful as treatment of menorrhagia and metrorrhagia. Effective treatment for migraine. Available as tablet format (bottles of 25, 100 & 500), intravenous administration (ampoules of 1c.c. in boxes of 12), intramuscular injection (ampoules of 1c.c. in boxes of 12 & 100) and injection solution (in tubes of 12).
