Description
Black and white photograph of Christine Kerf and Colette Willy in character for the play La Chair. Willy is dressed in a patterned dressed as the wife 'Yulka' and Kerf is dressed in breeches and a patterned shirt as the officer she falls in love with. The play's title translates into english as 'The Flesh' and became famous for a scene in which the actress playing 'Yulka' has her bare breast exposed to the audience. The actress Colette Willy was known to be bisexual, having had a relationship with Mathilde de Morny during this period, and wrote the 'Claudine' novels which are notable for their homoerotic content.
