Description

Meningococcal peritonitis (for comparison). 'Pterygoid ulcers' on soft palate in influenza (etc). Pneumonia (including senile pneumonia) pleurisy and empyema--chiefly pneumococcal origin--diagnosis, symptoms, etc. Diaphragmatic pleurisy and subphrenic abscess. Septic pulmonary embolism in relation to influenzal haemoptysis. 'Influenza' in man and horses (and 'distemper' in dogs). Influenzal septicaemia etc. 'Maniacal delirium' and 'collapse delirium' during or after pneumonia, toxic and infective delirium and insanity. Pneumonia and John Hay's 'Gawdsakers'--after H G Wells. Paralyses of sphincter ani, eye muscles etc in Influenza. Re all influenza questions (for comparison). Re the 'common cold' (for comparison), prophylaxis and therapy.
