The beginning of the introduction is missing, the first page being numbered 41 (fo. 1-9).

The Materia Medica (each page so headed), divided as follows:

Part 1, Minerals, Cap. 1, Metals (fo. 11-43);

Cap. 2, § 1, Of Water (fo. 43 verso-44);

§ 2, Of Salts (fo. 44 verso-59);

Cap. 3. § 1, Of Solid Sulphurs (fo. 60-73);

§ 2, Of Liquid Sulphurs (fo. 73-75);

Cap. 4, Of Earths and Stones (fo. 75-83).

The second part, presumably dealing with vegetable drugs, is missing, and after a blank folio (84) the text proceeds "Part 2, Zoologia, or of Animalls." The first section deals with entire animals (fo. 85-92), the second with parts and secretions of animals (fo. 92 verso-104).

The animal section is followed by "Methodus Præscribendi" and is signed at the end G. FAREWELL (fo. 105-132).
