Sir Michael Perrin papers

Sir Michael Perrin was Chairman of the Wellcome Foundation Ltd, from 1953-1970.

These files primarily consist of his copies of board operational files, in his role as Chairman. It includes his copies of some statutory records, also committee minutes, reports, and correspondence.

The papers are particularly strong on relations between the Wellcome Foundation and Burroughs Wellcome (USA), such as on the creation of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund.

Also included are papers re external bodies with which Perrin was connected.
