Description
Collection of chemical, alchemical, and other receipts, many dealing with the making of artificial gems and metals, etc.: translated mostly from Hindustani. Compiler's holograph MS. A piece is wanting from the lower outer corner of the first and last 5 leaves, with loss of text. The two parts are separate, but mostly on the same paper with a small impressed circular stamp lettered 'Fine Bath', but they may originally have been parts of different collections. The date 1850 appears on the second leaf of the first part.
