ASH Research Committee

This Committee was convened in 1979 with the assistance of the HEC, Scottish HEC and the DHSS to `monitor and promote research relevant to the prevention of diseases caused by smoking' after the demise of the MRC and SSRC Joint Committee on Research into Smoking.
