Biographical note
The NAPC was the key force behind the organisation of the Congress held in London in 1901. It secured the co-operation of other institutions, and of the Foreign, Colonial and India Offices. The Organising Council was chaired by Sir William Broadbent. The NAPC was also represented at the International Tuberculosis Congress held in Washington, Sep-Oct 1908.
